Food Commercial Manager

Merchant Food | Head Office | Full-time

Responsible for overseeing the commercial strategy and driving the achievement of category KPIs for BeFood. This includes developing and executing campaign plans, managing the budget as approved by the Head of Function (HOF), analyzing the effectiveness of daily operations and cross-functional activities, and cultivating long-term relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. The role ensures financial efficiency, cost optimization, and contributes to the sustainable growth of the BeFood category. The Food Commercial Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following tasks:

Responsibilities:

Be Responsible for Category KPIs and Reporting to Category Director:

    • Take primary responsibility for setting and achieving the BeFood category KPIs, including revenue, customer growth, and satisfaction levels.
    • Ensure all strategies and campaigns align with the overall goals of the BeFood category

Proven Expertise in Budget and Financial Oversight:

    • Develop and oversee the budget for BeFood’s commercial campaigns, ensuring appropriate financial allocation and cost optimization.
    • Ensure strategies are implemented within the allocated budget and achieve the desired profit goals.

Negotiation and Strategic Partner Relationship Management:

    • Negotiate and maintain relationships with strategic partners, both externally and internally
    • Ensure mutually beneficial partnerships that bring long-term value to both BeFood vertical and its partners.

Campaign Coordination and Team Management:

    • Consolidate, validate and oversee commercial planning 
    • Together with marketing and growth to define food campaigns to deliver the target 
    • Work with acquisition and account team to develop merchant base with competitive offerings for users
    • Together with other team to ensure implementation of the campaign Monitor, analyze and close any gap identified throughout the campaign
    • Coordinate marketing and commercial campaigns, working closely with relevant teams to ensure timely execution and achieving campaign goals.
    • Oversee the entire campaign process from planning to execution, ensuring that objectives are met efficiently.
    • Breakdown and cascade target to individual level
    • Monitor, push and support relevant individual to achieve the result
    • Lead the team to deliver the execution as well as develop team members to achieve higher result 

Development and Implementation of New Features:

    • Develop and implement new features for the BeFood platform to enhance user experience and maximize revenue.
    • Collaborate with technical and product development teams to deliver creative solutions that meet customer demands.

Campaign Analysis:

    • Build regular reports and dashboards to track KPIs, including revenue, costs, and campaign effectiveness.
    • Provide detailed reports to the BeFood Category Director to enable timely strategic decisions.
    • Use analytical tools and Market insights to measure and analyze the success of BeFood’s marketing and commercial campaigns.
    • Assess key performance indicators (KPIs), including revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction, and adjust strategies for optimal results.
    • Other tasks assigned by Line manager

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years in business strategy, growth, analytics
  • Experience in marketplace, campaign, performance marketing or any relevant position in e-com/ food delivery is a plus
  • Strong business acumen, an end-to-end, problem-solving mindset and ability to work in increments and exponents
  • Experienced with SQL and comfortable working with large dataset
  • Attention to details, able to understand processes and adapt to tracking own work systematically and accurately
  • Be very well organized and communicate well
